AlphaTest® is formulated with boron citrate that supplies a precise dose of boron shown in a 2011 scientific research study on 8 healthy male volunteers to significantly increase free (active) testosterone levels and decrease estradiol levels after only 7 days.
Reducing estradiol levels is also important, because estradiol is an estrogen that competes with testosterone for receptors in your body. When testosterone binds to an androgen receptor, it activates the receptor and you get the effect you're looking for. Estradiol also looks to bind to these same receptors, and when it does so, it blocks testosterone from binding. Estradiol does not activate the receptor, so nothing happens. With elevated estradiol levels, your free testosterone becomes less effective as too many of your androgen receptors are blocked by estradiol and your free testosterone has nowhere to go.
